Castle date date to 1270.
Childhood Home of
Anne Boleyn, after her execution, Harry VIII gave the Castle to his
4th Wife Anne of Cleves.
Hever Castle
passed through several families until 1903 when it was bought by
William Waldorf Astor.

Hever Castle is
surrounded by some stunning grounds and gardens, situated on a
35 acre lake with loggia and piazza, classical sculpture in the formal
Italian gardens, water maze and hedge maze for everybody to enjoy.
During the summer months you have jousting and open-air theatre.

Leeds Castle |

Leeds
Castle, which is set in 500 acres of parkland with wonderful gardens,
was first built in AD 857 on two islands surround by a
lake. In 1119 the Normans rebuilt Leeds castle.
Surrounded by
a large watered moat, which now a days is rare, as many moats are now
grassed over.

Today, the well kept grounds can be seen along with magnificent
views of Leeds Castle.
Along with touring the medieval castle
and gardens there are; aviaries, a maze, duckier, vineyard,
museum
of dog collars, collection of furnishings, tapestries and
paintings.
