founded in 1204 by Cistercian monks on land given to them by King
John.
Beaulieu Great
Gate dates back to the 14th century an is still a family home of
the present Lord Montagu. Much of the house is open to the public.
National Motor
Museum. the biggest collection in the country, also showing James
Bond collection of cars and gadgets.
