The City of
Oxford is home to Oxford University which is made up of 39
colleges. Although world-famous for its University, several hundred years of
history and architecture. It has now
become even more famous due to Harry Potter films being
shot there.
During your visit you will be able see the film locations
where 'Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone', 'Harry
Potter And The Chamber of Secrets' and Harry Potter
And The Goblet of Fire', were filmed.
If you wish, you can extend your time to explore more of Oxford,
or
alternatively, visit nearby Blenheim Palace or Harrow. But, if
it is Harry Potter that interests you, why not continue onto Lacock
and see the Hogwarts classrooms. |

The famous
Christchurch College is home to the grand dining room used
as the inspiration for the Hogwarts dining hall. Christchurch
College is open to the public of all ages and has some
wonderful sights within. |

Divinity School in
Oxford has been used in four of the Harry Potter films as
Hogwarts Hospital. The public can visit here and see the
marvellous walls, ceiling and medieval hall that comes to life in the
films. |

These stairs were used for the scenes in
which Professor McGonagall greets the First Years' in
'Philosophers Stone' and in which Filch catches them
arriving late in 'Chamber of Secrets', situated in
the heart of Christchurch College. |

Within Christchurch there is a trophy cabinet, some say
part of this was used to film when Hermione told Harry his
dad was a 'Seeker' and that it was in his blood. |

As you look through
the cloisters windows you can see the tree that Malfoy was
sitting in when Mad Eye Moody turned him into a ferret,
during the filming of Goblet of Fire. |
