Browns began it's life in 1837 when James Brown a
former manservant opened a hotel in Dover Street. Theodore Roosevelt stayed here
on his wedding day and Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt took their honeymoon here.
Rudyard Kipling is also amongst the many famous people that have stayed at this
hotel in the past.
Browns Hotel is probably London's oldest
hotel, with guests who return year after year.
The hotel is popular with Americans for
it's old English charm.
Cream teas are a speciality, although booking
is essential.
