James Lock inherited the
hatter company in 1676 and the business has continued in success ever since. The
shop hasn’t changed over the centuries.
Many famous people have had
hats made over the years, which include The Duke of Wellington’s Cocked hat for
the battle of Waterloo and Lord Nelson (which can be seen in Westminster Abbey.
The shop designs, sells and
makes all different hats. Servants hats, riding hats and men's bowlers hats are
just some of the many.
