Petticoat Lane
is one of London's most famous street markets. It is famous for
the volume and variety of leather goods and clothes on sale
here. Maybe not always the cheapest but the quantity and quality
is good. You can also get the usual toys and cheap jewellery
here. Also a large variety of fast food sellers.
The market does get extremely busy.

PORTOBELLO ROAD MARKET.
|
This market is
like three markets rolled into one. The first part is jewellery,
old medals and paintings and further down the market goes into
fruit and vegetables , then after that it becomes clothes ,
tapes and cheap C.D’s. But as the market carries on down the
street the stalls start to get a little worse for wear.
The main day
to come here is on Saturday when all the stalls are out.
