LONDON
EYE. |
|
The London Eye, also known as the British Airways London Eye It is the world’s
largest ferris wheel. It is a staggering 135 metres high and takes around
twenty-five minutes to complete one revolution.
Standing on the river Thames, the London Eye gives an excellent view across
London. The 'pods' are all glass and hold fifteen people comfortably. Riding the
London Eye is so smooth that you can barely feel it moving.
|
 |
|
British Airways, the Tussaud’s Group and London architects David Marks and Julia
Barfield privately funded the London Eye.
This
is an amazing way to see London and to get pictures of the London panorama
whilst you are at it!
Waiting in line can be tiresome on weekends. Advance booking is highly
recommended.

London Eye
The London Eye is a
great experience, I really loved this, but there is one problem there can be
very long queues. The view from the top is amazing right across London. But you
do need a sunny day for the best views.
