M.I.5 are the
counter– intelligence arm of the British Secret service. Their main tasks are to
identify foreign spies, terrorists, and more recently the drug traders.
They operate in the background and do not have the power to arrest people. For
this they have the Special Branch.
Their headquarters, which you see opposite, is on the Milbank.
