This art gallery was founded in 1885 and exhibits paintings and sculptures from
the 17th century., In 1941, the building was burnt down and the gallery was in a
temporary one until 1987.
The collection consists mostly of Royalty and Lord Mayors from the 17th century
to the present day, along with other art connected to the City of London.
Important Pre-Raphaelite works are included in the Victorian section. There is
also a gallery with the collection of Sir Matthew Smith. You can also find many
