This
12th century church has been
rebuilt many times.
1326 was the first
time it was rebuilt.
1676—83 after the
Great Fire by Wren.
1713—17 the steeple
was added.
1954—63 A World War
II bomb came crashing through the roof, but luckily failed to
explode.
1988 Repairs where
done to the twin dialled clock turret and bell.
