In 1685 the Tower of London became the birthplace of this regiment.
The museum situated in the Tower of London, has exhibits of relics collected
throughout the years along with many medals and Victoria crosses donated by
relatives. There are many oil paintings and uniforms from the past up to the
present day. There are also models of battles in which the regiments have
fought.
Since the
recent cuts in armed forces the Royal Fusiliers regiment has now amalgamated
with other companies and now go by the name of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
