This memorial, dedicated to the dead of both World Wars, was erected in 1920.

Here, on the nearest Sunday to the 11th November, Monarchs, politicians and ambassadors from many countries along with past and present Service people attend a service each year. Afterwards the memorial is covered in poppy wreaths from each regiment as they march past the monument.
