Within the Guildhall
public library is the clock museum.
Here you can see a
collection of over 600 watches and many clocks, which date from
the 16th century up until the 19th century.
The clock collection is on display courtesy of the Clockmakers
Company.
One of the main exhibits is the skull shaped watch, which
belonged to Mary, Queen of Scots. |
