This building,
which stands three storeys high, was part of the old Palace of Westminster,
which was built in 1366.
Originally used to store the valuables and personal affects of Edward III that
included his clothes, furs and gold vessels.
In 1621 and for hundred and fifty years after, Parliamentary records were kept
here, until it became the Weights and Measures Office.
