The museum is very large with many floors and it is hard to
cover all of the exhibitions in one go without getting tired.
Some of the famous exhibits include the prototype computer,
Stephenson's Rocket, the Apollo 10 command module, and the first
iron lung. The flight gallery, which has historic aircraft’s
hanging from the ceiling, is truly worth a visit. The museum is
well known for its hands on approach for adults/kids with a
special basement area for the children. Although the children's
area was brilliant we found there were a lot of the hands on
exhibits, which were broken on the day we visited. This was a
big disappointment for the children. But overall, well worth the
visit. |
